Happy Belated Daylight Saving Time!

It's good that I'm somewhat observant, although in this case you may be thinking, 'wow, she really has a flare for the obvious'! You see, I noticed that one of our clocks had sprung forward this morning. Other household clocks did so weeks ago thanks to a 'new and improved' change to Daylight Saving Time. Coincidentally, by noticing said springing, I saved John from a mini crisis, since this is the alarm that he sets to wake up at 'o'dark-thirty' on Monday morning. Otherwise he would have slept right through to 'o'dark-tardy'.

I don't mind going back to daylight saving time. With inflation, the hour will be the only thing I've saved all year.

Oh, gosh, I had this problem. My palm pilot seemed to be giving me belated alarms, and I realized that, unlike my phone, it's time had not shifted. So I shifted it myself. Then a few weeks later I was confronted with the message 'hey, I've adjusted to Daylight Savings Time,' or some such. So then I had to shift it back again. Things are getting complicated . . . I LOVE your o'dark-thirty and o'dark-tardy!

. . . though now that I think about it, wouldn't it have awakened him an hour EARLY? I remember how confusing it was when I lived in eastern Montana and would drive east into the next time zone - trying to figure out what time I needed to get up . . . argggh! I would get so mixed up!
